Chandrachur Singh (born 11 October 1968) is an Indian actor, who used to appear in Bollywood films.
Singh has two younger brothers; Aditya Singh and Abhimanyu Singh. They are in television production - the Singh brothers of Contiloe Films (Kashmeer, Jubilee Plus and Shhh... Koi Hai fame). He married Avantika Kumari daughter of Ajai Singh of Glenmoor Cottages, Mcleodganj Dharamshala and educated at the Lawrence School Sanawar (graduate education unknown). He has one son Shraanajai Singh aged about three years.
Singh made his acting debut in 1996 as the lead actor in Tere Mere Sapne, which was produced by Amitabh Bachchan's production company A.B.C.L. He then won the Filmfare Best Debut Award for his performance in the critically acclaimed Maachis which released later that year. He appeared in several other films and had success with his lead role in Josh (2000), opposite Aishwarya Rai, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan, and supporting roles in the hit films Daag: The Fire (1999) and Kya Kehna (2000).
