In case you have been inquisitive where Deepti Naval has been veiling, here’s a curtain raiser for things to come in this gifted actress’ career- according to the tabloids she is not only on the verge of a new film release “Yatra”, the gorgeous talented girl is all set to attend a retrospective of her films in Los Angeles on April 19.
The stunning lady chirped that the exhibition was at the Film Festival, And she was really pleased because generally she doesn’t get honoured in this way.
“And last year they had honoured Naseeruddin Shah. So I’m in an august company. They’ll be showing some of my best works like ‘Main Zinda Hoon’, ‘Kamla’, ‘Ankahee’ and ‘Panchvati’. It feels good to have your work being thus honoured.”
A little birdie told me that Deepti is also very proud of her work in Goutam Ghosh’s “Yatra”.
“I play Nana Patekar’s wife. The last time we got together was in ‘Shakti – The Power’, and again I really enjoyed myself, though I had only one important scene with Nana.”
According to insiders, she is about to sign one more film with the entertaining actor of bollywood-Nana which is the sequel to ‘Saath Saath’, one of her most beloved films.
She excitingly said that she would love to get together with Farooque Sheikh as they did some of their best films together.
